ODIRS Charges Staff on Hard work, begins New Year with Prayer
The Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS), has charged its staff to be more committed and imbibe the kernel of hard work in order to scale up the Internally Generated Revenue of the State.
This is just as the staff converged yesterday to render effusive praise to God over unprecedented feats recorded in 2021, while they also prayed for better revenue generation this new year.
Speaking at the prayer ground, the Chairman of ODIRS, Mr. Tolu Adegbie, appreciated God for shielding members of staff against dangers lurking around every nook and cranny.
Adegbie noted that the unrestrained Grace of God kept ODIRS on the lane of progress even as the country`s economy took a nose-dive last year.
He urged the staff not to navigate from the goals of the agency, urging them to sustain and burnish their spirited efforts in order to ensure the speedy growth of the Sunshine State under Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The highlight of the annual thanksgiving service includes the award of excellence given to hardworking staff in different categories in the organization.
