Emblem: JTB partners ODIRS to train Mobile advert vendors

Ahead of the commencement of the Inter- State Stickers
and Single Haulage Fee operations in Ondo State, the Joint Tax Board (JTB) in collaboration with the Ondo State Internal Reverse Service (ODIRS) has organized training for mobile advert vendors in the state.

The training which held at the Learning Centre of the Ondo
State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS) in Akure had in attendance representatives from Signage agency, vendors in charge of Haulage and emblem in the state as well as Local Government Chairmen across the 18 Local Government. Areas of the state among other stakeholders and other States Internal Revenue Service who attended virtually.

In his welcome address, the Executive Chairman of  ODIRS, Mr Tolu Adegbie stated that the training is in a bid to prepare the vendors for the new scheme to ensure seamless transactions, urging participants to make the best use of the training.

His words:'The training today is on the Single Haulage fee, the initiative of the Joint Tax Board (JTB) as facilitated by the consultant of the Board from Abuja to save tax payers from random taxes'.

Speaking during the training, the Head of Technical, Cyber-one Systems Network International, Osuntola Oluwaseun gave the assurance that the initiative by JTB will go a long way in bringing solution to the problems of multiple taxation. 

"This is what we have been able to achieve to eradicate multiple taxation and strongly hope that this will commence soon" the JTB Consultant said.
